Peter Fanone is a New York based American Actor, Musician, Writer, Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Theater Educator, and First Assistant Director from Alexandria, VA.

He received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting in May of 2018 at the American Conservatory Theater, ranked consistently at the time as one of the Top 5 MFA Programs in the United States.

In February 2020 he debuted Off Broadway in the World Premiere of INDOOR PERSON, a new play by Kayla Martine produced by the Normal Avenue Theater Group.

Peter also started his own film production company, FAN1FILMS, with the feature film PAPPY currently in development with co-writer Rob Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and Tony Award Winning Executive Producers David Lambert and Shawn Arani.

Recent Theater Credits: Webster/Brom Bones in SLEEPY HOLLOW (Capital Repertory Theater), Florindo/Pantalone in Servant of Two Masters (Lanes Coven Theater Co.), Gremio in Taming of the Shrew (Lanes Coven) LORT A Regional Theater Credits Include: a Christmas Carol (A.C.T.) as Giles and Hamlet as Marcellus, Osric, Captain, and Player (opposite Tony Award Nominee John Douglas Thompson) where, in addition to acting on A.C.T.’s 1100 seat Geary Stage, he composed the entire score for the “play within a play” section, which he performed live nightly on a sawed off piano and gong set using only mallets and fish string.

Previous training: The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Yale University's School of Drama, and Georgetown University, where he graduated cum laude with a double BA in Theater and Performance Studies and Government with a minor in Italian. While at Georgetown, Peter performed in numerous shows with The Mask and Bauble Dramatic Society, studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and sang with the Georgetown Chimes, Georgetown's oldest all-male a cappella group, where he is a proud lifelong member. He is also proficient in Spanish and Italian. 

Peter is a character actor with a strong comedic wit who can also proficiently play (and look) the leading man. He has deep experience with film/tv, classical work, physical comedy/clowning, improv, musical theater, and significant dramatic and transformational roles such as Judas in Last Days of Judas Iscariot.
